Who we are…
Starting in 1910, near the campus of USC, University Christian LA has been a place where the Word of God is spoken and where people from all walks of life can come as they are to worship and know God more. The rich heritage of UCC provides a unique platform for multi-generations, ethnic and socio-economics to come together in unity. You see UNIty in diVERSITY is who UCC is, and we know God has a next step for you. We hope you will join us on your journey as we Love God, Love People, and Love Our City.
What to expect…
A typical Sunday at UCC is welcoming, where there is something for the whole family, as everyone, age 5 and up begins the service together in the main worship area. When the kids and youth are dismissed, we have fun and safe environments for your kids with programming tailored to their specific age groups. Visit our nursery and children's check-in areas before service to check-in your kids, and the friendly staff there will let you know where to pick up your child at the end of the service. Both main Sunday services have compelling teaching that is culturally relevant and based on God's timeless truth found in His Word, with the 9:30 service music more traditional with choir, and the 11:30 more contemporary.
As you arrive at UCC, you will be greeted by the connection team who will be able to answer questions and point you in the right direction for all of you needs. The parking team works hard to provide directions and make parking quick and easy. Being in the heart of Los Angeles, parking is limited. If the lot is full, please know you are welcome to park on the street, and there is additional parking around the corner at Spectrum on Green Valley Circle, just to the side of the gas station.
We can’t wait to meet you!
Whether you're completely new to church or just haven't been for awhile, we'd love to see you. Stop by the Welcome Center after any service and introduce yourself! The friendly team will have a gift for you and look forward getting to know you!
