University Christian Church = Unity in Diversity, worshiping God together.

What To Expect

What kind of church is this?

University Christian Church (UCC) is an independent Christian church uniting people from diverse backgrounds into a loving, joyful, Christ-following church family. A little over 700 people currently call UCC home and that number is growing all the time.

Here at UCC, who we are as a church and what we do are summed up in our slogan. "Everything is evangelism."

Mission: Make disciples that love God, love people, and love our city.

Vision: Be a bridge for the gospel of Jesus Christ to reach our city.

              Slogan: "Everything is evangelism"

What should I wear to the worship service?

Our dress at UCC is casual. Our members wear both formal and semi-formal attire (some men may wear a coat and tie and some women may wear dresses). All are welcome and we want you to feel comfortable when you walk in to worship with us.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed.

Though we do pass an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give...the service is our gift to you! We do like to collect some basic information from people but if you'd prefer not to give it, that's all right with us. For security reasons, we do require some basic information if you decide to send your children to one of our classes.

What is available for my children during the worship services?

The children experience an incredible program of classes during the worship service. They are designed for children k-5th grade. Nursery care and Preschool are available during the worship service as well. The Preschoolers will enjoy play time and Bible lessons, as well as arts and crafts.

We encourage our Jr. High and High School students to attend the 11:00am service with their family or serve in other areas of the church. Our Youth Ministry program meets at 7:30pm on Friday nights.

Coffee, hot chocolate, wifi and restroom?

We know how important a cup of coffee is! We want you to be able to relax in the Missions Cafe or Courtyard before and after services. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate are available in our Missions Cafe (located off of the courtyard). Restrooms are also available in the lobby area and down the hall from the cafe. Our auditorium, cafe, and courtyard have free WiFi internet connections. Simply select "UCC4" or "UCC4_EXT" from your list of available wireless networks and ask any staff member for the access code.
