Matt Wilson

Student Ministry Coordinator

Meet Matt Wilson, who is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He resides with his parents Dan and Carol and his younger brother Greg. While in high school, Matt attended UCC and helped out with the youth ministry while he went to college at Hope International University. There he earned a degree in Youth and Family Ministry. At the end of college, Matt interned and worked at Downey First Christian Church as their Youth Ministry Associate for 4 years, where he worked alongside the youth pastor and helped develop the Middle School Ministry. Matt has always had a heart for Missions and while at DFCC he participated in two short term Mission Trips to Ecuador and countless trips to a Children’s Home in Rosarito, Mexico. 

Matt loves basketball, whether he’s watching it or playing it and he is a huge USC football fan. 
And if you want to treat him, he loves eating fettuccine alfredo and drinking iced tea.
