March 28^th-  All Sunday Services

   We are excited to Have Dr. LeRoy Lawson share with us about “Reflections: Celebrating God’s Work at UCC”.

Dr. Lawson served as president of Hope International University in Fullerton, California, from 1990 to 2003. During the first nine years there, he was also the senior minister of Central Christian Church in Mesa, Arizona, a position he held from 1979 to 1999, while the congregation grew from an average of 490 in 1978 to around 4500 in 1999. He accepted the additional call to lead Pacific Christian College in 1990, and in 1997 led in reorganizing PCC to become Hope International University. His writing includes 29 books published by Vanderbilt Press, College Press, and Standard Publishing Company; and numerous articles for Christian Standard, The Lookout, and other publications.

May 2^nd- All Sunday Services

We are excited to Have Cal Jernigan share with us about “Reflections: Celebrating God’s Work at UCC”.

Cal Jernigan has been serving as the Senior Pastor at Central since 1999. He has been on staff since 1986, first serving as our Youth Pastor. Cal is a gifted leader who is known for his ability to teach biblical principles in a way that is easy to understand. He has been known to say he is just a youth pastor at heart teaching big people. Today, Central has more than 13,000 people that call Central their church home. Cal became a follower of Jesus in High School, and he and his wife, Lisa, have been in ministry since college. His passion is to help people understand that there is a God who cares deeply about them and wants to connect with each of them personally. Cal and Lisa have two grown children, Jeremy and Amy.

June 26^th/27^th  100^th Anniversary Celebration Weekend.

We will be having a great party on Saturday afternoon for the whole church and all of our Sunday services will be centered on celebrating what God has done at UCC and where we are going. We will be giving out some great gifts as well. We will also be taking a special offering for our 100^th Anniversary Outreach Project.

July 4^th- All Sunday Services

We are excited to Have Bruce Templeton share with us about “Reflections: Celebrating God’s Work at UCC”.

Bruce Templeton serves as Senior Pastor of First Christian Church in Huntington Beach, CA. Bruce was hired in 1988, facing millions of dollars in debt and an attendance of less than 300 in a room that seats over 1000. Twenty years later, he’s helped lead FCCHB to a place most people didn’t think was possible. Attendance is over 2800 and growing. Community involvement is a must for Bruce. He serves as a Chaplain in the HBPD and serves as a member of the HB Kiwanis. Bruce and his wife Connie reside in Surf City U.S.A.
